If the cars were great in that weather ....that's a good sign. Appreciated the comments on who the cars were aimed at. Only area I would differ from you is on the M version. Although it is by far the most expensive of the 3 if you compare it to a comparably equipped Macan EV, it is dare I say a bit of a bargain.

Thanks hb for these videos. It is nice when a reviewers sentiment towards a car aligns with my own.

One item which is often raised is the iX charging architecture, and while an 800v architecture is faster, it assumes that you have access to an abundance of working superchargers. This is not the case in Australia, indeed most new chargers are 150kw rated, and the 350kw chargers we do have rarely operate above 150kw as they are limited by the grid. So the iX charging speeds are not that much different to the charging speeds I experienced in my past car which was a Taycan with an 800v architecture. All of the breakthroughs we are seeing with charging speeds, I expect all require superchargers.

So the other point on the iX is 400V works, the car is incredibly reliable, and the small changes are the changes we want, without introducing major changes which could impact the reliability of the car. The iX is a great car and will be so for many years to come.

Same thing in Chicago. Most chargers are 150 kW.

The iX was always criticized for its exterior design. If they would have done a slightly better job with that, sales would have been great. Everyone likes it after they drive it.

I can't wait to get the new iX in the fall.
