Lowering on stock 19s (859)?

Has anyone lowered their M50 on stock 19s (859)? I’d like to see some pictures and opinions on height and ride quality

AI’m debating lowering to close the wheel gap a bit and sticking with the stock wheels (with spacers).

I’ve debated 20s, but the roads here aren’t great and I don’t want to be replacing tires / wheels.

My stock 20s have taken hits and seem fine so far.

I'm 2 years in on my factory 20" wheels and no issues.

I did have to once replace one of my 19" 2007 550i wheels. These new 20s have benefited from many years of new metal tech.
