Thanks!

Yes, the OEM seats was not good at all. I really hated them. The seats are just a physical swap and coding (just code the seat module to the car and activate the different motors if they was set as not active).

The seat modules are identical for both passenger and driver seats. Therefore, the memory coding is available on the passenger side. You need pos+, neg-, beifahrer-LIN for the memory switch and custom coding.

Ill see if I can make a DIY for the retrofit.
Oh, that's good news! I have no problems with TIS and wiring harnesses . But I have not yet found the necessary encodings. Could you share or give a link, you can in private messages.
Thank you
To facilitate the creation of DIY, I am attaching the connection table I made

I’d love it if you could make a DIY.

I’m looking to replace the seats in my i4 and I see X3/X3M and M3 seat options. I currently have the ventilated seats. Just to confirm any current model X3 or M3 seats are a fit, and I just need to remove the current seat and put the new one in? No custom wiring needed?

I’d need to remove the ventilation option from the car obviously. What other coding would I need?

That would be awesome, think a lot of people can benefit from a write-up on how to do it. Maybe jump-start others to explore the retrofit possibilities for the I4.

Amazing work. Personally my skill level is at the “switch out the BMW roundels from the wheels” part of your post so this is all super impressive to me. Way to really add so many nice touches to the car…I hate to think what the price tag is for these mods but love that you’re doing them.

Thank you for those kind words. There is actually many cheap mods I did there. Some parts is also bought used from a wrecked car.

What a great build you have there. The car already looks fantastic, but I look fwd to seeing more mods done.

Laser tail lights, anyone?

Please keep sharing.

Actually - I don't like the laser tail lights. I think they are cool, but the laser stripes are too dim and only visible in the night time. Since the stripes are dimmed, there is a bright light at the bottom that doesn't fit in with the rest of the design. From a distance, it looks like a car driving with rear fog lights on.

I don’t get the laser tail lights *at all*. They’re just so anemic, and thin.
