Winter driving

I am thinking of leasing a 2025 i4 M50 and was curious what you suggest for winter conditions. I believe they come with Pirelli P Zero Elect stock and they will not do well in the snow.

Typically I buy a winter set of wheels/tires for my RWD BMWs (currently driving a z4 M40i) but since it's a lease I was hoping to not invest in yet another winter wheel set for a car I am going to turn in in 3 years.

I have an xDrive40 with All-season 18" tires and it did incredibly well in the snow, I'd say even better than the G05 X5 we have, except for the ground clearance

It's a really heavy car so traction is normally good and it's very balanced. Depends on where you live snows are always better but not always necessary. I go to Vermont/lake placid often and choose to go with snows. It's definitely worth it but if you are just doing short snow commutes on well travelled roads u can like deal with the all seasons

When i had my i4 m50 i had 19" as winter setup same for winter as summer (size wise). If summer gave me on the hankooks i din't opt in for the performance tires. I Got around 16,1-19,1 kwh/100 km. While on the winter setup nokian hakapelita i got 20.2-22.1 kwh/100 km. I would find that kinda respectable.

Nice. My M50 did come with the all season tires as well (19" wheels) so I'm pretty happy about that. I think they will be fine for winter. I'm not going to invest in a winter set for a lease.
