BMW Platinum Extended Vehicle Service Contract/BMW Ultimate Care

Purchasing a new 2026 BMW X5 PHEV. Anybody have thoughts on the purchase of the BMW Platinum Extended Vehicle Service Contract and BMW Ultimate Care maintenance packages? Are either worth it? Seems like it is a close call on the BMW Ultimate Care package based on miles drive. Plan to hold the onto the vehicle for at least 10 years or so.

is it a v8? my X5 needed a new front diff at 4yo 50K miles, woulda been a 10K repair had I not had coverage. the differential issue is with the V8s.
