Battery management: Increased power consumption
On several occasions I have received the following error on my new i4:
"Battery management: Increased power consumption while parking. To ensure the vehicle is drive-ready comfort functions(e.g. Remote Services) have temporarily not been carried out If the problem recurs, have it checked by your service center." Has anyone else received this error?

Several times actually.
I even had the car to the dealership several times and they could never find anything and then it just went away and I haven't seen it again for the past year. That said, if you have anything connected to your ODB port or a hardwired dashcam then it might be a valid warning. It can also be an indication of a faulty 12v battery but that's pretty unlikely if your car is new. I got that error almost daily for a week or so on a BMW i3 before the battery gave up. |
