That's good news.
I wonder if he does any type of myo-fascial release. I do it myself after having it done by a PT for awhile. I actually use a rolling pin. Very effective for keeping the IT Band supple as you know that can be a big spot of contention especially if you squat a lot. Other areas I do foam rolling, and I do Trigger Point release with a tennis ball along my back. But extensor tendonitis is no joke. I have a friend at work who developed it from running on uneven surfaces. He said it was unbearable at times.

They are not prescribed to me but on the box it says 50 mg (1% alcohol or something like that). Is that decent?

Try it for a month and see how it does for you. I don't think that it's strong enough that when you stop taking, that you are going to shut your body down that hard to experiencing any major side effects. Another thing...if you are wanting to get on prescribed TRT treatment, run the gel until you are out....then wait 4 weeks or so and go get your levels tested. I guarantee they will be low enough to warrant a prescription at that point.

PT will definitely help you with your issues. I used to think I could do anything, but when my PT put me through the paces, only then I realized that I had several week areas that were my weak points. He'd also use a flat-metal piece to break up the scar tissue in my forearms to help with my tennis elbow issues, and IT band stretches, bulgarian splits and bunch of other stretches, and exercises.

But I'm on injections. My doc wants to see me stay somewhere in the 600-700 range as E2 and Estradiol all check out good at those levels. You could always push it higher, but then you get into having to use anti-aromatizing agents often more times than not...and most of them can really mess up your lipid levels which is something I will not fool around with!

BMI doesn't account for muscle mass. It works for most, but not for us unfortunately. Gold's gym does 3D scans, and I don't even put too much faith into them (primarily because they tell me that my BF% is 16% )

I'm currently sitting around 203lbs at 5'7". She then gave me a handheld "resistance" meter to measure my BF. I told her these things were okay for tracking changes, but inconsistent as I could drink a ton of water before and after and get completely different measurements. I told her that calipers were better than that. It came back at 15.8% I then proceeded to lift up my shirt as I still have most all of my abs showing...and I said..."Does this look obese to you????" I was pinched last week at 12.1% in my gym. So I am a little higher than I normally like to get, but no way am I obese!!!

I'd be terrible fat person cant do it. I notice 5 lbs too much to get extra 200. I've been 205-215 for over year now and hasnt bothered my knees like did in past at least, maybe I'm used to being obese now.

I'm 45....so I may possibly be the old guy. I can't remember if I ever seen your age posted.
But you guys would kill me as I'm back in the higher rep training camp (5-7) on this progression. That what I like so much about this program, one day I'm hitting multiple sets of 3...next time I'm doing EMOM (Every minute on the minute) sets that typically start around 10..and I'm supposed to end that series when I can no longer hit 5 reps or more. Usually I'm good for about 7-8 sets before fatigue sets in.

Heavy is a relative term anyway. I thought I lifted pretty heavy until I met my training partner. He made me feel like a small kid just starting out.
Plus now you have a legit injury.....so we have to account for that! All jokes aside, I really hate it for you bro. Injuries suck. I have never had an injury from the gym, but have had injuries that kept me away from the gym and it's so hard to get back in the groove of things. Keep your head up and know you will come out of this stronger than ever!

Rmtt....love me some EMOMs! Nice to hear you doing those. They great for muscle endurance and conditioning! Back to volume stuff today on BS. Switch up and did pauses and 1 1/4 squats finishing with 4 reps of each at 355. Then 40ft walking Barbell lunges at 185x3. Legs smoked! |

I've recently become addicted again to Farmer's walk with dumbbells in between sets to bring my grip strength back up to where it used to be. Plus my traps were at their thickest when doing them. Guy I train with is fanatical about grip and forearm training! |
