USA I4 and M50 questions

Sorry for being a new guy who knows very little... And hi to everyone.

I found out the pre-order later than a lot of you, my preorder was put in on 6/20. My order where sent to the dealer and got the order/spec in on 12/6.

That said, I have been lurking here daily trying to find some info.

a) How long after my 12/6 spec order date before I can find out the production schedule time? And yes, I have the order number to track and it is stuck at Step 1 with a lot of you.
b) I see a lot of you who preordered on the first day are getting production week in late March, Mid April. I wonder if any of you guys who preordered on 6/1 actually has an earlier date?
c) On the FAQ site still said "Delivery starts 3/22". But as far as I know, no one has that kind of early delivery date...
d) Now the dumbest question of all. Has BMW even start the productions for the US market yet? The last I heard was they were "Planning" a Saturday shift. But nothing after that.

Yes, I am very jealous of our UK/Europe counterparts. But at the same time, appreciate all the reviews we get from them.

What I fear... First M50 delivery for US 6/30/22 (still made the deadline), but majority late summer/fall/winter delivery. And throw in the fact LA/Long Beach port was "4 weeks" behind on unloading before Christmas (was in the news and my company has a lot of inventory from China stuck on those ships, unable to unload) I always think of the worse case, that we will actually have to wait till 2023...

Thoughts?

Call the BMW Genius. I forget the number to get your production week.

My car is week 21.

I have a week 10 prod. which is 3/8/22 so they start before late March and I'm not assuming mine is first but should be an early production …..

Actually production week is not the start. That is the estimated finish week.

Add 30-45 days for transport and you are looking mid to end of April for a car delivery.

Interesting, I didn't know that. Of course I still don't have a production date other than a Vehicle Status report that shows only a 'Req. Prod.' date of 2022/02/05. But no production #.

I received my production date and number from my dealer, but the "Track my BMW" has not been updated to show past order received. Anyone know why it hasn't been updated?

Mine is the same way. It is probably because your car isn't close to production, unless you have a build week coming up very soon.

BMW Genius or your dealer can tell you the actual status of your production number. "Track my BMW" is not accurate in providing production updates:
