i4 M50 San Remo Green over Individual Extended Fiona Red/Black ceramic coated + PPF
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com The car is fully specced only lacking vented seats and carbon exterior trim. Full Merino does not include leather and stitching on doortops. Merino interior has heated rear seats as standard. I thought it was removed when i specced Merino, but it was removed as an option and came standard. Individual Merino added no delay to my build time. Pictures from my detailer and some from my phone cam. Some phone pics flip sideways after upload. Last edited by Hansn; 05-12-2022 at 01:28 AM.. |

Congratulations!! It is beautiful. So after many years of making peace with SensaTec and actually having grown to love it more than BMW's regular leather....I see your butter smooth Merino leather, and now I want it too, LOL!! Gorgeous. We had an orange-red Merino leather in out 2018 M6 and it was so soft, smooth and lush too!
What wheels are those? I have not seen these. Amazing!! Drive your new M50 in good health. On 16 May, I will have had my M50 for a month and I love it more every day and every drive. |

That looks fantastic! I’ll live vicariously through your Fiona/Black spec… my dealer didn’t push hard enough for me…
Well done!

Thank you!. This is my first Merino interior, comming from Sensatec in the G30 i dont think i will ever go back. Even my garage smells premium leather now.. 😅
The wheels are M868 20" the biggest range drainer on the spec sheet. Many people stayed away from them due to the range drop. I am happy i picked them. They include the wider fenderflares in the back and the M tech pack with 378mm rotors and bigger calipers in the front. Also some kind of cooling feature. It seems like US customers have a hard time changing to Merino. In EU its on the option list and no problem to spec. I had week 12 prod and made the change week 10, with a warning that it may delay the production by 10 weeks. That never happened, but i guess it scared alot of EU customers from making the change. I have not heard of any other car delivered with Merino yet on any of the i4 forums. It was available 1st of March in EU. |

Getting anything individual has been a pain in the US.
I heard of a couple of US builds that got individual leather or paint, but it was not easy.

I will never understand the mistletoe spec. In isolation, the colors work. Combined, no. But to each their own.

Each to their own ofcourse. I have to say that its not a miss-match, you have pretty much only green-black-red on this car. There is 100% a synergy between taillights, calipers and the interior as the only color except green/black. |

I like the color combo. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty much nobody agrees, but the color matched center console cover is just wrong to me. BMW should save the money and always keep the center console cover black for every interior color. If I were to choose this interior for my car I'd have a black cover ready to swap when the car arrives. I think a black cover will keep the focus on the seats and greatly improve the look. Anyway- best of luck with the new car. Looks really great. |

So, I do not think we will see lots of San Remo Green Metallic. I think it is lovely though, but green is never a big hit for most people. |

It drives me nuts that the i4 cannot be had in the US with merino leather nor heated rear seats.
I'm wondering if heated rear seats is a possible retrofit option for US owners? |

I think it's a similar case to the f32 not being available with alcantara (base!) seats here in the U.S. while Europe got them.

I noticed windows switches and memory seats buttons look like metal? Did you swap them out? They were plastic in demo cars, metal looks much more premium.

I'd love to know how many miles per 'tank' you're going to be getting after delivery and some normal driving.

it is the 1st year of the I4, an EV (green car) so why not a green color and a weird choice lol. I saw the color live at the official launch and the photos don't necessarily do it justice. Anyway it's too late for me to regret, my production date is June. |

We live in a world where people dont like to stick out. In my neighborhood all the houses are some shade of grey or white, everyone drives gray/black cars etc.. After the response i got to the car out in public i am not even close to worrying about resale. I can bearly stop anywhere without somebody commenting, especially the color. Actually had kids waiting to cross the road pull up their phone on red lights to take pics.. 😂 Quote:

Those where not normal miles ofcourse being the first two weekends in such a fast car. When i drive from my home 25km of winding/hilly roads outside the city i can get the car to do 19-20kwh/100km when not doing any crazy accelerations. Actually i noticed the car using less energy if driving faster 80-100km/h etc as it keeps the momentum up better when reaching hills etc. If i put the car in cruise control at 70-80 it will chug more juice from the same trip. Its made and tuned for the german 2 lane roads with 100km/h speed limits, not norwegian 80km/h limits.. 😄 Overall it seems to do 24-25Kwh/100km without trying to be efficient.
