Ok, i realise this is a somewhat specialist subject but curious to see how many Individual colour i4's there are, and what colours people have gone for.

Full merino leather - Tartufo.

You can see my individual Dakar Yellow i4 M50 in this video (though cameras never get the color quite right):

I tried to get Merino (Tartufo/Black full) interior, and originally had approval but in October when it came time to lock in my order my dealer said BMW USA wouldn't let me get Merino on an i4 anymore.

So I know why you couldn't and I could.
My approval came in Sept 2022 with a Jan 19 build..

I asked my CA to order full individual merino tartufo from the Canadian Order Guide and gave him the option code.

Tartufo and Black is not a standard in Canada. It's full manufacturer
Canada has :
Ivory White extended
Fiona Red/Black extended
Tartufo extended
Blue/Black extended
Black extended
Full Ivory
Full Red/Black
Full Tartufo (what I got)
Full Blue/Black
Full Black

As long as Merino is ordered with those combinations and no changes they will approve and not cancel. Those options are in Canada as standard and come out of the factory.

My CA was even surprised why he got approval in one day and immediately added to the build.
He was not aware and I don't think many others are of ordering with Canadian interior options to get immediate approval.

Then again, the i4 looks good in almost all colors (I can't think of any that I don't like yet).

San marino blue is available on the i4.
I nearly went for this colour but instead have gone for another individual colour on my replacement i4M50

To answer above: my i4 M50 SMB arrived in June— it’s been a dream to own a BMW and an electric car for decades— now finally realized.

To all individual color owners with DAPP: I do not have lane change assist active on my car— the wheel icon turns off/grey as soon as I activate the turn signal stalk (doesn’t matter if soft or hard activation). I heard about this option being deleted on some orders, but my build sheet does not have anything delete code on the build. Is yours the same? Or can your car do an automatic lane change even with an individual color?

I have full Tartufo interior also.
Everytime I open the door for someone to take a look their mouths drop wide open looking at the interior.

Thanks. Yeah, the Merino Tartufo is just amazing. I´m going to retrofit the M-sport seats tomorrow, can´t wait to get them in.

The Canada configurator shows black stitching but your pics show white stitching, which I prefer. You’ve mentioned sticking with the Canada ordering options as key to getting approval in the US, so is the configurator inaccurate, did BMW change to the black stitching, or did you make a special request?

Tartufo leather stitching color is Impala Brown (BMWAG), not white or black.

My stitching is brown.
The lighting may make it look black, but it's definitely brown.

I didn't make any changes and if you want fast approval don't make any changes either. Only specify the leather color and/or build code.
