Is anyone interested in a lease take over?
2023 i4 in Brooklyn Grey over Vernasca red leather with M sport package, Premium package, M sport brakes and HK sound?

I put $3k down and it also has a tire/wheel protection. I always get those with my leases.

$1150 is the monthly payment, the lease matures on Nov 5th, 2025.

Try swapalease and leasetrader . I’ve had luck with both in the past. If neither work, there are some auto traders that buy out BMW leases (Carmax no longer does). Where are you located ?

Never leased before. How do you know if you’re getting a good deal on a lease?

1) start with good selling price
2) High residual for the mileage allowed (58-60% for 12-15k miles per year)
3) Low money factor (multiply MF by 2400 to see what the équivalant APR is)
4) No down payment other than license and registration (no capitalized cost reduction which is basically prepaying the lease)

An $1100 payment on a $65k car with only 10k miles per year is not a good lease.
But I could be wrong, maybe EV’s just dont offer attractive leases.

It's not attractive per se, but it works out to be basically the cost of the car amortized over 60 months.

65000/60 = 1083.

Residual Value = 55% for 36/10k
$3500 lease tax credit (applied as cap cost reduction by BMWFS)

Using the same MSRP (64720), a lease today sold at MSRP, with only fees DAS would be a pre-tax monthly of $891. (With 9% CA tax is $971/month)

However this isn't even reality ... brokers are doing a minimum of 5% off MSRP on i4e40, so that deal looks like this:

This is the formula for a good lease. In times of low interest-earning opportunities, put down x7 100% refundable MSDs (7 monthly payments rounded up to the nearest $50) to lower interest rate by a MF of 0.00070 or ~1.7% reduction. In current times, put your money in a short-term, high-yield certificate and earn ~ 5% as the opportunity costs are showing a greater yield than the MF discount provided.

Absolutely. This is not a lease for someone who is looking for the bare bottom best deal, but more for someone who is looking for that specific car right now. The lease incentive of $3500 was not available when this was put in place. The deals are better now, but the point of this thread is to advertise what I have available for someone to take over, not to advertise that there are better deals out there now than 7 months ago. I don't have to let it go and I am comfortable with the payment as is. The car also comes with ceramic coating, tint, MSS lowering springs, H&R spacers and tire and wheel coverage. Thanks for your opinion.
