I have synced everything including my shoes. Don’t think the car likes my wife so goes into guest mode to piss her off. Everytime I try to tell her something about the car , she looks at me like I have 2 heads.
So of course she used the car with a friend the other night and called me later that night that the car won’t go into drive and the parking break doesn’t release.

I asked if she hit the start button, I just heard click, never heard another word. Maybe next time maybe she will listen to my car talk!

Thank you for the laugh. This sounds like an echo of the dialog in my home.

In fairness, BMW does need to do away with the start button idea. I don't mind it because of the placement is a single motion to start and shift into D but I would gladly trade that start/stop button for something more useful.

My experience has been that anything that will open/operate the car if it is not associated with an ID will pop up the Guest profile. The car recognizes that a specific device is a key, but having no profile associated with it just assigns it to "Guest."

I synced my wife’s, phone, her key and watch.
The key works fine but the phone overrides it and then car show a guest profile.

Since my wife will never leave the house without the key I have deleted the ix50 wallet pass from her phone. Now the car is just synced to her FOB, problem solved , not a real solution but works here.

I think I finally solved my wife’s guest profile issues.

I had synced my fob, phone and watch and her fob, phone and watch. You are limited to 5 in total .

I deleted the watch and resynced the phone and it seems to work.
