Something like this would be needed to introduce competition into the space. The more chargepoints there are owned by various entities, the sooner we can look forward to a price war.

Price war? Great. I'd be happy just to have working ChargePoint and EA chargers. I'd say easily 75% or more in Los Angeles are either out of order, or the plugs/pins are broken and no one fixes them.
