2024 i4 xDrive40 - Bad Offer?

Received a quote on the i4 xDrive40 lease. The dealership is only offering $2500 off MSRP before incentives ($7500 lease cash + $1500 loyalty). I've been on Edmunds' lease forum and they are suggesting at least 10% to 11% off. Is that before incentives or with incentives? I believe the Edmunds figures are before incentives, and I feel this dealership is trying to take me for a bath...

Thoughts?

10-11% off BEFORE any other incentives (lease cash, etc.). Consider working with a broker. The difference can be significant.

One dealer is telling me that the $7,500 rebates and other incentives only apply to when I take delivery on the vehicle, ie, I have to receive the car by Dec. The other one is telling me that you get all the incentives once you lock in the credit app and price. Which is correct?

Are you trying to build a car then get a deal? You will do far better getting one off the lot, there is no incentive other than for using bmw finance for the dealer to move a car that they haven't already paid for. You are getting a good deal, but if you want the best deal you really need to find a dealer that's trying to move inventory. Use the Internet to find what you are looking for or if you are lazy plenty of brokers on here willing to do all the work for you

Wasn't the question I had, but thanks. I want Tanzanite Blue and nobody has that build on the lot. Yes, working with a broker.

The latter. BMWFS typically locks incentives for 90 days once you do a credit app, and you are entitled to the incentives in place when you do the credit app OR the ones when you take delivery (whichever are more preferable).

If your delivery gets delayed beyond 90 days, the offer technically is not necessarily valid. If your car looks like it might not make that cutoff, it might be worthwhile to ask your advisor to confirm that BMWNA will honor the rebates, etc. I did that, delivery was delayed well beyond 90 days, but they did honor the original offer and a slightly better loan rate than was available at the time of the lock! But this has not universally been the case in the past.

It’s helpful to tell you that the deal metric you’re reading about are based on inventory vehicles.

Don’t be rude when people are being helpful.

Wasn't being rude. However, everything was incorrect. I did work with a broker on a new build and saved over $5k compared to any dealer I went to. BTW, highly recommend working with Scott at Insight Auto.
