In the EOS tester. You need to perform an EOS test

Hi,

I also have BMW i4 after crash, installed new SME and other related parts. SME was coded to the vehicle. After coding, I am getting such faults:

- 0x21F415 High-voltage battery unit, cell module 04, component protection, voltage: reuse limit exceeded (safety function)
- 0x21F414 High-voltage battery unit, cell module 03, component protection, voltage: reuse limit exceeded (safety function)
- 0x21F413 High-voltage battery unit, cell module 02, component protection, voltage: reuse limit exceeded (safety function)
- 0x21F412 High-voltage battery unit, cell module 01, component protection, voltage: reuse limit exceeded (safety function)
-0x21F4DA High-voltage battery unit, control unit, service life estimation: Estimation failed due to implausible CAN communication
-0x21F306 High-voltage battery unit, control unit, service life estimation: Estimation failed

Maybe someone had similar faults and knows how to solve it?

You have to replace those cell modules and enter new serial numbers.

Ive changed pss1 and pss4 and i stilul cant clear crush detected error

Hi all,

I starting the same procedure as Wioletowy. First off all, I have a question - If I send new battery controller to BMW to programing, do I need access to AOS/ISTA at all?

Actually you have to replace SME, code and programmed it and replace fuse in front of battery. That's enough in case of battery. Every service who make it now hate me Sorry guys but I love share knowledge with others
