Trim Pics Requested
Looking for folks that have their i4's already to share some pictures of the different trim options. I'm trying to decide between the two wood, two aluminum, or the carbon fiber for $300 and seeing some real world shots from folks would be helpful.
Thanks in advance! |

Here are two wood options and CF. CF looks really good if you're getting the M50.
I found cars with each option to help me make a decision. |

The two metal ones you can feel exactly what you can see. The non gloss wood you can also feel.

1) Open pore oak - I am not a fan, feels cheep to me. However, it just blends and doesn't show any reflections which is nice 2) Glossy oak - nice dark color. Don't notice it much. Classy look, but not really modern 3) Aluminum mesh - sporty, modern look. Color is fairly light and reflects some sun 4) Aluminum Rhombicle - modern, a little busy but not bad, darker color than aluminum mesh (this is my top pick for eDrive40 with M sport package) 5) Carbon fiber - very Sporty, looks cool, is glossy so will get some reflections (this is my top pick for M50) |

Agreed. It's a personal choice. I like open pore wood in many cars. BMW does have some nice ones, but just not this one. Perhaps it doesn't have enough texture/patterns. Just looks cheap in real life. That was my first choice, until I saw it in person. I then went with carbon. I really wish it was the non glossy. But that's an M Performance upgrade. |

Wow, your drivers side seat color looks so different than the passenger side in that photo.

I think those are the Sensatec / alcantara combo seats available in Europe. Middle of seat on drivers side is a different material than bolster of passenger seat you're seeing in the pic.

I've got the open pore oak, and I like it, mainly because it's non-reflective, almost matte. But it's very black. I thought maybe the wood grain would add some contrast to it and add some grey, but it's all black. So make sure you're ok with that before choosing it.

2025 BMW i4 M50 Refresh - Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Compatibility
I'm looking for Carbon Fiber Trim parts for my 2025 BMW i4 M50, but I'm concerned about compatibility despite it being part of the G26 lineup (2022-2025).
* Cosmetic Changes: The 2025 model has mostly cosmetic differences, which might affect part fitment. * Desired Modification: I'm interested in swapping out my current interior trim for a Carbon Fiber look. My Research: * I've checked forums on this site and others but previous threads don't confirm compatibility with the 2025 model. * I've spent time on eBay, Amazon, and other third-party sites, but no listings specify compatibility for the 2025 model. Visual Comparison: * A photo comparison shows potential fit issues: * The drive button and center console are slightly different. * However, the front vents and curves look significantly different, suggesting possible fitment problems. (The left side is from 2025, and the right side is from prior years) Any suggestions or leads on where to find or confirm compatibility for 2025 model parts would be greatly appreciated! |
