They utilize state-of-the-art treading technologies and they are also big on sustainability and innovation while maintaining green operations as well.overall, I would say Hankooks are absolutely good tires. In my experience, when I am looking for replacements, I am not at all worried if I buy a set of Hankooks. I know them to be very well made and durable. And for their pricing, you can’t beat Hankook. Also, so everyone knows, this not a paid endorsement of Hankook tires, this my own opinion and experiences.
Hankooks feel great, but also comparing with 3y+ iX50 with 40k km on Michelins, so far only 500km on the new ones.

Range so far very similar to the iX50 with my driving pattern. If anything, slightly better but on paper it should be slightly less.

Congratulations on the new ride. Looks lovely!

The lease on my iX 50 is up next April and I was going to jump into an X5M as a last V8 hurrah, but I suspect they will not be available due to the switch over to the new X5 platform

That said, I’m looking at the iX 60 & M70 since I love my iX. It seems to me that the 60 can spec’d to look like the M70 with the M sport pack. So it’s a question of range vs performance.

The dark horse is the iX5. I can extend my lease 6 months if that looks compelling and will be available in time

The iX5 is slated for production 08/26 so probably not going to be available by then. I'd probably lean into getting another iX over the iX5 though anyhow.

Yes, you can option-up an xDrive60 to be feature equivalent to the M70. I currently have an xDrive50 that is maxed at the time I ordered.

If I had it to do over, I would get an M60 (now M70) every time. The range hit is not that significant. And the acceleration, M badging, and M graphics on the dash are awesome.

Same. No CLAR platform vehicles get my money.

I’d just get a Polestar 3 if the iX (or even iX3) isn’t an option. By then the 3’s bugs will be worked out.

Are you able to extend the bottom of those M seats at all?

By far the worst part of the iX interior have been the comfort of the seats. The BMW multicontour have been around for ages and they are great for a reason. Why BMW decided to forgo those and have some crappy ones instead is beyond me. What happened to "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it"?

Discussed a lot elsewhere: no, the seat bottom does not extend (like it should).

But they are supposedly better - see around 9:30:

They are cool, but it’s all for show, it’s not even close to a real M car

Agreed. But I don't think anyone compared an M trim car to an M1 or XM.

Great looking
Always have preferred darker outside and lighter inside.
Ordered a frozen grey M70 with the same interior as yours a few weeks ago.
It’s really helpful to know about your car and your experiences.

I wonder if the new LED headlights are better or worse than the lasers when main beams are on? Or did they just change to something less expensive? Anyone knows?
