Yes, you guess a pedal position and usually are close enough (with experience) that you don't get a sudden jerk. The other alternative is to switch off OPD when you're on the highway, which is what I do when I think about it.

Yes, and it is never smooth. The iX disengages cruise more smoothly than my old Tesla, but it is still a little abrupt no matter how good I try to guess with the Go Pedal.

We have both cars too - a BMW iX M60 and a Macan Turbo. How bland the Macan interior is completely dependent on how it’s configured, but I can assure everyone the quality is there in the Macan. I’ve spec’ed mine to be a very comfortable and luxurious place to be.

I love both cars but the Macan Turbo is two amazing cars in one. In Normal mode a very comfy daily, in Sport Plus it s a beast and the handling seriously outclasses the iX in every possible way. They just don’t come close at all.
