That is one might need to travel to Georgia to receive it. Thus the "income" may be considered to be "earned" in Georgia. I bring this up because all those game shows that are filmed in California, the prize "income" is considered to be "earned" in California and California income tax must be paid regardless of the contestant's state of residence.
