I have 7 yr 120K additional warranty on my M3 for like $5K (went with a third party than BMW). So atleast I have that peace of mind for catastrophic failures. I think manufacturers need to come up with a battery replacement plan for the second hand market as most of the first users would prob dump it before the 8 yr warranty expires and for those that want to keep, would give them an added incentive but dont know how the costs would work. Hopefully in the future we might see something come by as more EV start flooding the market and instead of writing off EV with a failed battery pack, people can start replacing or repairing them which would go a long way in saving the environment and lithium usage (which was one of the main purposes of EV). |

Does anyone know if these credits stack?
1. Lease Credit ($9,900): https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...tsoundbmw.html 2. Loyalty Credit ($8,500): https://www.bmwusa.com/loyalty/iX.html If so, I am very likely to go lease a new iX, even if the seats are a bit short ![]() EDIT: Also, can you lock in lease terms (including trade-in) ahead of time on a custom order? If we're spending this much, would prefer to get exactly what we want. Last edited by lookielou22; 02-16-2025 at 03:48 AM.. |

Same as in the January. Check out the Edmunds forum at the below link. It's best to register there and ask for the lease numbers for your zip code as sometimes they differ for various regions especially when it comes to electric vehicles.

I'm being quoted a deal of 9.25% off MSRP plus national lease incentive of 7500 on an in stock new 2026 ix xdrive60. No additional dealer contribution on the lease (like the advertised $3,585 amount). Dealer says their contribution is already in the MSRP discount. Should I expect the deals to stack (and so this is a bad deal), or is this OK?
I'm in California. |

You have a good deal, but if you really want to try for the best deal, shop those numbers around at other nearby dealerships - many will try to outdo each other. Let them know that your dealership is offering this deal, and if they're willing to go to 10% off, etc.

Thank you guys, I went with this car. Their first draft quote seemed to have a marked up MF but I let them know I was expecting the current national offer rate of .0015 so they fixed the lease terms. That part seemed shady but I didn't want to shop around as I had a particular set of options I was looking for and they had the only 2026 with a match avail nearby.

2026 ix xDrive60 vs. 2025 ix M60?
Hi. A Soccer Mom in New England new to EVs and BMWs wants to know which is better: 2026 ix xDrive60 or 2025 ix M60?
Range, heat pump, reliability, and build quality are important. Accelerating fast, having big tires/brakes, and luxury items are not important. A new 2026 will cost ~$90K. The cheapest used 2025 with 10K miles or less: ~$85K. A lot are between $90-100K. I drive a reliable Subaru Outback which I bought new and put 150K miles in good condition. My gut tells me: buy the 2026 because I get more range for the same money. Note: My husband and I talked about waiting for the 2026 iX3. But we don't like buying 1st generation cars. Thanks everybody! |

The xDrive60 will have better range, but for $90K, it is likely missing a lot of options. And the range is so good either way, that the difference become immaterial. The other attributes important to you are the same. One BMW trait is that many things you expect to be standard are options. So it makes buying off the lot or used difficult if there are key options you want.

I agree with exxxvii that a lightly used ‘25 M60 as long as you find one with DAPP is perhaps a better economic choice, especially if you buy a CPO and get the 5 year warranty extension with unlimited miles.
However, the 2026 iX60 will have the better seats; has the better looking front and rear design; you can custom order the car to your wants/needs, and since you seem to keep your car a long time, paying $10K-$15K more for the ‘26 isn’t a big deal when amortised over many years. |

Only the MSport pkg has the better seats. Otherwise, the 2025 and 2026 have the same seats.
Quote:
If range is your #1, then the 2026 60 - it will have 20-30% more range than the M60. The M60 will likely be fully loaded (so long as it has Driving Assistant Pro). That pkg is a must in either car, too. So adding MSport and DAP to the 60 will push the price up. Something to consider. A more apt comparison range-wise is an xDrive45 and the M60. Why not consider a 2026 45? It will have about 10% more range than the 2025 M60 and can be had for less money. Honestly, why are you looking at 2025 M60s and not xDrive50s, if range is the top reason? The 50s still have more range than the M60s. The 2025 50s have the good “range, heat pump, reliability and build quality” you say are your priorities. You can even still lease a new 2025 50 to try it out, and get the $9900-10900 in available rebates/credits. You won’t get that if you buy a 2026 or any used one.
