Hi guys!
Looks like been a few since this thread was active. Just got my new to me 2016 i8 and super duper excited! With that being said, i test fitted my 2019 Audi S5’s BBS CHR-ii 20x9.5 ET25 on the i8 today. Brakes and all clear but the distance between the wheel itself and the control arm is almost nonexistent. Just wanted to see if that’s ok? Planning on running 245/40 tires. TYIA |

New Bola FP4 forged 21" Wheels
Lowered with H&R springs. 9' at the front with 35mm offset, 10.5 at the rear with 50mm offset. Front has 1mm clearance to the strut and no rubbing. Perfect. Rear is not bad either but a 52mm offset would work better. I went with the new Khomo Ecsta Sport S tires. 245/35 and 285/30. 295/30 would be a better fit on the rear to matcht he front sidewall height. These tires are amazing, so cheap, very quiet and the same sort of performanec as a Michelin Sport. Another good thing about these wheels, being forged they are light. I weighed the old and new wheels with tires and they were virtually the same as OEM.
