I'm usually like that but made exceptions for Tiger King and this one. It's like so fake but good to play in the backgrd while doing chores, etc, haha. I'm just amazed in a country of 300M+ they could only find mainly trashy women in terms of both looks and demeanor.

The wife and I watched Joe Millionaire. I didn't think it was that bad. Admittedly, we've run out of shows at this point; at least shows that aren't more like trash than this one.

That's good to know. I was wondering if it would be better if the audience didn't know who the rich guy was either...still, it's not as compelling because the other guy shouldn't be too bad anyway. Anyway, it's something to fill the time, we're on our 3rd episode.

TIger King lost me after 3 or 4 episodes, was just boring, they draw it out too long.

I never watched a single episode of that shit. Dude's face was enough to keep me away (want to punch him), not to mention the total overhype of that garbage. I feel like Alfisti but... PASS

Dicktown is actually pretty funny and easy to binge. I usually can’t stand Hodgeman.

Started watching Severance. Seems interesting, with decent reviews, but on the other hand I keep falling asleep while watching it. It’s like a sleep story or something.... Anyone able to keep watching through the Season?

We watched 1.5 episodes and lost interest, which wasn’t all that high to start.

Yeah, that’s about where my mind is: losing interest. And where I fell asleep, half-way through the second episode.

Yes! A good selection of “background” shows are always needed.

Wife and I usually have Seinfeld on it in the background during dinner. We use to have the news on - but it’s just so darn depressing to listen to, and Seinfeld always makes us laugh.

Anyone finish s2e8 of Raised by Wolves?

SPOILER

Man, I get that they're going for some allegory but all the symbolism and other odd stuff just had me zoning out. I'll still watch s3 to see how it all pans out but they really lost me after the first few episodes of the show w all this crazy convoluted and metaphoric stuff.

I finished it. I think the plot with Grandmother and Sue was pretty interesting, especially the callback and answer to de-evolution from the season 1 finale. I'm still enjoying it, very curious to see what they do for season 3.

I know it's really not a new show but I just got through Money Heist. The Netflix English dubbing really didn't bother me at all.

For people who have watched it, any suggestions for other similar shows?

Wow. Utter waste of time. It’s like someone took the idea from John Carpenter’s “Escape From New York” and tried to make it their own. DMZ fails on so many levels.

Just finished 1883.

SPOILERS

I'd imagine that life on the frontier was hard but DAMN. One better not be depressed watching this series, did anything happy ever happen on the show? LOL. I've lost count, how many settlers started and how many survived? Seemed like just a handful.

Didn't realize that this was a prequel to Yellowstone. For some reason I still haven't gotten around to that, maybe this will finally make me watch it. Do they tie in nicely (w/o spoiling anything to the latter show)?

I watched the first episode, thought it was decent for a “Western.” But then I had to subscribe to yet another streaming network for more episodes, so I did not get to finish the series. But, to your point, the first episode (heck, the even opening scene), was beyond depressing to the point I knew what to expect if I continued.

If you haven't watched Arcane on Netflix you are missing out. From the same studio that created the game League of Legends, but you don't need to know anything about the game or characters going into it.

The story is excellent, voice acting top notch, animation is beautiful and all I do now is listen to the soundtrack on Spotify after watching the series back to back. Easily best show I've seen in the last year.
