BMW appears to be trying to commit business suicide. Audi and Porsche keep teasing their BEAUTIFUL electric cars, while BMW is conveying the message "dont buy an electric BMW. We dont give a fuck about electric cars, so plan on putting zero effort into them. when the ICE dies, so will we.

This is simply a design exercise. It's more akin to the roadster they did a few years back that had shape shifting fabric as the body panels. It's ugly, but it's not like a concept that is slated for production. Yes it's hideous, but doubtful anything that looks like it will ever make it into production.

"The iNext will be one of 12 new electric cars the BMW Group will launch by the end of 2025. The first will be the MINI Electric in 2019, followed by the iX3 SUV in 2020, and an i4 four-door coupe.

The production model of the Vision iNext will be built at the Dingolfing, Germany plant."

Not saying it will be anywhere close to 100% intact, but they're building this monstrosity.
