I've been keeping an eye out to see if I'd have a recall with my VIN and haven't yet, but it still has a week to get into port so we'll see.

WTH just happened to Auto Energy's month long Journey up and down the Spanish Coast and to Italy with my i4 on it? I was joking when I said it might as well go back to Germany where it started. That is exactly where it is heading. So a month wait to get on the ship. Then another month touring the Spanish Coast, and its back to where it started? Unbelievable!

My app shows that my i4 is now in transit, but when i called bmw genius, I’m told is is still in the port. Said i can expect delivery to New York in 2-3 weeks. Is this normal.

It takes about 2-3 days for them to have the ship information after it moves to in transit. Call back after the weekend and you should be able to get the ship that it is on and can track it from there. 2-3 weeks sounds about right for an east coast delivery once it is in transit.
