In fact when I got back to my M2C I felt like the car was not as solid and stable like the i4. Even the steering felt weird in my M2C. Now I am in the process of talking to a dealership here in San Diego to get my hands on the 2025 i4.

Do you guys think I am that crazy to trade a M2C for an i4? Did anyone here do the same? M2C is regarded as a great car overall, but to me the i4 felt even better. Therefore I am here to check my sanity!

Also I didn't test drive the regular i4 40i or whatever its called. Not sure if its worth to pay the premium for M50i but let me know what you guys think.

For 2025, will there be a M60i variant as well?

Thanks in advace for your inputs.
I'd keep the M2C hands down, what year and what color M2C?

Thanks man.
I kept the M2C and not gonna sell it anytime soon. I have a 2019 in LBB. I installed Ohlins suspension system and it has transformed the car to the next level.

So I have a slightly different perspective.

When the i4 was announced, I was one of the first with a deposit.

When dealers got the car almost a year later I test drove it and an M3. I was sold on the i4 M50.

The i4 M50 is a land missle that hides its weight very well. My car is lowered on Eibach springs and I have 10mm spacers so the 20" wheels push toward the edge. Car looks great and handles really well.

I wouldn't trade it as a daily driver..... But....
I have a G87 M2 on order. There is absolutely no amount of EV fun that replaces a 6 speed manual.

So I say keep the M2C (if possible) and get the i4 M50. Get it with the 20" wheels. The range isn't killed by the tire size it's the rolling resistance and sticky rubber. You pick up range when you go to an all season later.

Anyway no matter what you do, the only wrong decision is buying any Tesla; not keeping your M2C or getting the i4.

I have a Scion FRS as my 6 speed RWD fun car. I almost always choose the i4, though. The i4 is more comfy, far faster, and never needs gas. The M2C is great fun, but as a point to point weapon in the real world, the i4 has it beat.
