... And people wonder why EV adoption is slow. Normal humans like me don't want to deal with this kind of nonsense. Normal humans shouldn't have to know what a certificate is and whether it's installed and how it works. Screw that!

Did you “select” it in the car charging section? It just can’t be added, it also has to be selected which unselects the EA P&C
At least that’s how I think it’s supposed to work

This comment is SO right. Different apps for different charging networks plus chargers that are messed up.

I went to an EA today that had 4 chargers and one was broken. One guy spent 20 minutes trying to get his BMW to charge. One guy had his KIA brought on a flatbed (it was dead) and then proceeded to plug it into the 2nd cable on a charger that was being used. Some folks left, I waited 30+ minutes. My next charge is at a gas station with their own app.

I always pull up the PlugShare app to check chargers in advance. What a mess.

Tesla has it figured out. Wish everyone else could.

If you found three of four chargers working at an EA station I would count that as a win, especially if they are the older style chargers. The good news, more chargers are coming on line everyday. Tesla charging is indeed vastly superior to anything else however.
