Oh, so that's completely different then from being just another product engineered and supported with VW/Audi's usual treatment of customers....as my son would support who was almost stranded by his new Macan Turbo with electronic failures apparently known to Porsche but with no fix identified for being forced into limp-in mode.

I've been "had" by Audi twice in my life.....gave them another chance when we "fell for a pretty face." Nothing ever again from any part of the VWAG organization will be in our garage. My son is learning his own lessons.

Wish we could stop with the "it's electric so we have to have blue accents" shit.

I suspect most electric car manufacturers agree to put ugly wheels on their cars.

Porsche didn't. Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo wheels are amazing (of course not all).

I am still onboard with i4, but because it is ugly (not just the grill) it must have other advantages. The price can't be too high or I will look Audi GT.

If the price is right, it will drive like BMW, have decent range and have buttons in cabin, will be liftback. Then I am in.

It is so sleek and good looking! Really like it, and the M sport version looks even better.

Now please show us the interior and more colors! And also the shadow line version like the ix (the version where all blue trims are black)

The i4 isn't too bad. I am disappointed in the production model as I was sucked in initially believing when they said we'd be getting 85% of what you see in the concept car. IMO the "Concept" was drop dead gorgeous.

I saw more than a 15% change in just the exterior (front and rear facia, hood, roof, mirrors). Apparently the seats on the production car are completely different also. 65% is likely more accurate............

All in all, still not a bad looking car. A new EV that isn't built as an SUV is a nice change.

BMW is certainly trying to generate consumer interest in i4 as early as possible.

It's just perplexing why the wheels resemble an unimaginable yet a very real step backwards.

They add 15 km of range apparently... If that's significant I fear real world range

I'd like to see the rear of the non M-Sport, I got a feeling it's going to look better than the M-Sport version

the grille is much better on the concept than the production car. MUCH better. It's a shame the production car deviates so much from the concept car. I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person, but so far the photos disappoint. I was amped for the i4, now I'm not so sure.

No reason weight should be a problem...less than an adult person. The dog and it's restraint should easily buckle in to the right or left rear seat. Probably could only fit one human back there at the same time on the other side.

The i4 M50 most probably be the end of 20 years of M3's in my household. It needs an Individual color, a drop, aftermarket wheels, and an extended Shadowline.

In real world driving conditions, presumably range enhancing wheels will doubtfully produce any consistent increase in range.

M branded carbon fiber retractable sail on top of the roof will achieve more practical results:

- Verifiable increase in range with automatic retraction before overpasses

- More profitable option with carbon fiber materials

- Proposed logo, M-GT-MM8S or More Galavanting for Mere Mortals with 8 foot Sail, will create a vibrant secondary eBay market as these logos will be removed by enterprising individuals at night

Or - offering wheels which make the car more appealing sounds like a better option.
