doesn't the i8 sit on Prius tires? looks really bad from the rear view, it has all the dramatic lines on the body, but sits on some thin ass tires for sure.

The original NSX was a) a pain to drive, b) didn't sell very well, c) didn't have a successor. All three of those points made it a collector car, which drives up prices. With the exception of a), the i8 may still "achieve" the same. And we'll see where prices go then. Either way, not worried at all. I'm enjoying every minute in a car that is without comparison at the moment, no matter how hard car magazines might try. |

A lot of similar criticisms could be leveled at the prius, or i3, or M3. The point of the i8 is that it is pioneering a new niche. Clearly it is not for everyone. Comparisons are a stretch because the i8 is unique. Superb car for me, despite the impracticality.

Yeah the car is old already... For 150K-200K no thanks!
Wow. MDX switch-gear, not cool. Acura needs to take the NSX all electric, the current car does nothing for me, other than being a complete looker. Sad!

It was an alpina but jeez!! Funny my grandfather was going to buy one because it reminded him of his favorite classic Jag and when the dealer wanted a premium he walked because he never paid over sticker for any car, now I tease him about a lost investment lol ..... |
