That last photo tells me the rear seat headroom and the cargo area on the Audi are quite compromised compared to the i4. Might as well get a two door at that point.

Adding that depressed, anorexic waif who is showing off her midriff to market a watered down concept car that has lost all BMW design cues is surely going to get me to buy this car

Even BMW couldn't find a model that didn't look disgusted standing next to their car! What a pathetic group of designers.

For me, that attitude would defeat the purpose of getting the entire vehicle. I already have a 2 Series for personal fun. For a family car, shopping, luggage, taking four adults out, taking a bike in for service, etc. the car needs to have some usefulness. For real world purposes for more than a single person lifestyle, the Audi looks like a failure to me because it's just pretty at the cost of being useful. I can put a pretty car photo on the garage wall.

Lately new BMW's are far from photogenic, but look striking in person. I think (and hope) the i4 is no different. That being said, this car better start in the mid to high 40's. Anything more for the base trim would just be missing their target of the Model 3.

My First Electric Car not.

For my first electric car I will I'll be looking at a different brand. Looks like a Blow Fish. It makes a Tesla 3 a looker.

What a bizarre profile. It looks like someone sat on an X4's roof and squashed it. If the 4GC looks like this, then it is more GT than GC.

It just doesn't match in my opinion. Its very aggressive in the front but past the a-pillar loses any aggression and looks very boring, very VW Arteon-like.
The iX is especially guilty of this. It also accentuates the sagging butt look of the iX/i4. Those weird rear bumper pieces don't help it in that regard either. It's weird, it manages to be both bland and overstyled at the same time...

That’s probably what they are trying to do, since the GT is no more.

But this is what the 4GC will look like. We've seen BMW make some sleek GCs. I'm not sure why they would want to make a GC look like this.

What about the roofline seems that different to you from the current GC? The Hoffmeister kink is not what it once was, but overall, does this really seem that different?

jesus BMW if you don't want to do EVs then just don't...stop hyping us up for 5 years with rumors of iX i4 and then push out this stuff...this will probably sell fewer than the new Kia EV let alone tackle anything close to Audi or Tesla....

C'mon...Audi is 10 times better but those photos aren't proportioned. RSeGt is 141 cm tall, i4 probably 139 cm tall.

So, first, they take the "M3" name and slap it onto a 4-door and call the legendary coupe "M4". Then, bring an EV with 4 doors and call it "i4".

All the new bmws look hideous. If you want to give me a big grille then make it more three dimensional like in the 3.0 CSL hommage concept. The flatness of these new grille designs is what makes it awful.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this grille is definitely polarizing. Some will like it, but my bet is that more will not like it. Given that that we will see many BEVs coming from many manufacturers in the next few years, some with stunning designs, BMW does not appear to have put themselves in the pole position for sales - that is, unless they come in with truly remarkable pricing, which I doubt. Guess we will see, but too bad they didn't try a little harder to make the design more universally desirable.

I wouldn't drive this if you paid me. Don't care if the E-tron GT or Model X are more expensive, they look GOOD. I would definitely have one as a commuter in the future.

I can't find a single flattering angle on this car.

You know that this Audi thing is at about 100k and the BMW more like 50ish?

By the way the Frontend of this Max Specd Audi is nice, but that rearend is ugly as hell.
You might have an other opinion, guess that's what people call taste :
Whether it's 100k or 50k, a good design is a good design. The Honda Accord is like 20k and pulls off a better design. Albeit it's Audi-esque design.

What do you expect?
BMW is now just another sheep... All personal and characteristic elements have been dropped for Audi grille made from mosquito screens and wall and glued Ipad dashboards from Mercedes.

Don’t care about electric anyway. When all BMW’s will be electric I willbuy whatever gas or diesel vehicle exists while I will try to maintain my NA bimmers.
I rather have a gasoline KIA than an electric BMW. And based on the latest exterior and interior design I can see that whatever I pick outside this, will still be better...

They already make an i3 in a different form factor, what other naming were you suggesting? Like iS? For sedan like iX for suv?

Am I the only one who thinks the car's exterior is completely BLAND, BORING, NO SHARP LINES, NOTHING FUTURSTIC, and the concept version looks way better?

I am sure in terms of comfort, technology, and range it will succeed. But look wise, a huge disappointment.

Seriously, they have a chance to create something visually sexy along the lines of an i8 as an example, but this, come on.
