Lease company finally sorted out my i4 M50 order with BMW and I've got an estimated delivery of October 2022. I have my doubts though and suspect it will end up later than that, but one can hope!

Yeah, I’ve dropped a clanger there, my mate has confirmed he can fit them, so that’s that sorted - I’m looking at the zappi I think, did you go tethered or untethered

The first week of March. However, on Friday, I did speak directly to the BMW dealership that is handling the order and they said that the vehicle is scheduled for production in June. I obviously double checked whether they meant 2022 or 2023, but I was told 2022.

I would be surprised if it is really that soon, but only time will tell.

I went with the Easee charger which is untethered.

My concern was how the sunlight would affect the rubber on the cable long term.

Just ordered an i4 M50. Current ‘estimate’ for delivery is December ‘22 but could be as late as March ‘23. I had ordered an M340d Touring last August but was so messed about by the de-speccing and moving dates that I cancelled and with the upward move of fuel prices I decided (after testing the e40 and then the M50) that electric was the way to go.

Now starting the ‘what charger do I need?’ game. Decisions, decisions…….

Congrats and yes it really is incredible, when I test drove the 40 I was shocked how even it delivered very impressive performance. It might claim 335hp but it felt a lot more in real life, BTW what colour did you end up getting?

Just checked with BMW Genius.Car has now entered production - chassis number allocated. Was told it might be on a ferry this time next week and available at the dealer 2 -3 days after arriving in the UK. Looks like I was only delayed by a week or so from original planned production week - the BMW Genius agent thought this was due to all the extras I have ordered.

I ordered my M50 in Tanzanite Blue on 12th of January... still no update, just waiting for a production slot.

I see there are a few more i4M50s around my neck of the woods so some others are getting their cars, either ex-demo or actual order.

I live in Yorkshire - only seen mine (e40) and 1 M50 so far.
