charging extension cable for 110v

Could somebody please recommend a good extension I could use to charge from wall outlet 110v , I know regular extensions don't work( I've tried them) and the cable is a bit short to where my wall charger is, I have to get i8 too close to a wall to charge, Am afraid one day in overdue it and got the wall, would really appreciate if anyone can post a link to a safe and tracks extension cable for 110v(wall outlet). Because I know that every couple of weeks it's good to charge to 100% to maintain life of batteries.

I have a cord that does not work and one that does. I am guessing that the system requires high amp, heavy gauge cord.

Would you happen to know the specs on the cord that works?

Thanks

Been using this one for over a month now. I'm not close enough not to need one so hoping it continues to give me no issues.

Thank you, and may I ask how long have you been using it, and if no hazardous overheating in cord?

Thanks Mike

I’ve been using it for a few years. Never even gets warm.

In most stores they will have 2 grades of cord, one of them with more costly heavier grade wire.
I have used one such for years.

If not, just go and turn down the charging power to mid or low setting.. problem solved.

I actually recently found a extender for the charge stand we use at work. real lifesaver when lots of cars want to use the same stand.

If you are in the USA. Walmart sells a 25' extension cord that uses a claimed 14 gauge wire($19). I bought one and charged the car with it a few times zero issues. To the touch I felt no heat off the extension cord at all. The small short pigtail on the charger itself that was plugged into the extension cord was slightly warmer to the touch. But the extension cord itself was cool as the outside temp.

extension cords

Ditto for me...I've used a variety of extension cords. Pretty much whatever was lying around, in terms of 'heavy duty'. Most worked without issue, no over heating noted at all.
