Water inside back light

I have detected water moist in the left brake/position light house! It’s a 2019 with only 4000 km. on the meter. Is this a weak spot?

I had this on exactly the same rear light fitting. It was changed under warranty.

Not in the i8, in an RS5. Also a warranty case at the time.

Thanks for the feedback! I meant “rear” not back. I will just have to make a warranty clam on this issue in addition to the left door strud that doesn’t go all the way up and the display key that has “frozen” and is not responding anymore.

Did you try rebooting the Display Key? I had that issue once but fixed after a reboot and never returned. Just hold the "on/off" key down long until it reboots.

Warranty clam filed! BMW is going to install a new lamp fixture. Isn’t a full day job (4 hours direct labor)! No idea or explanation offered on how the water got inside in the first place... but they are sorry for the inconvenience this have caused me! Door strud will also be replaced but only on the driver side... why not do both while they are working on the car? Car has only done 3950 km..
