Lol even if he loses he still wins. He goes back to his riches and does whatever he wants.

I am sure it would hurt his ego but he will still live a way better life than any of us.

Bernie is crazy and Biden is insane. Lol
Are you talking about Bloomberg or Trump?

Orange man bad.

There, now there's no need to read that article, I summed it up in one sentence.

I mean, really? The TDS is more than a little obvious.

Could definitely sink him, but if people stay the f home, could rebound in fall once this is all past and would come out stronger than ever against a field that is 1/2 dead socialist or 1/2 dead dimensia

Taken together, this is a massive failure in leadership that stems from a massive defect in character. Trump is such a habitual liar that he is incapable of being honest, even when being honest would serve his interests. He is so impulsive, shortsighted, and undisciplined that he is unable to plan or even think beyond the moment. He is such a divisive and polarizing figure that he long ago lost the ability to unite the nation under any circumstances and for any cause. And he is so narcissistic and unreflective that he is completely incapable of learning from his mistakes. The president’s disordered personality makes him as ill-equipped to deal with a crisis as any president has ever been. With few exceptions, what Trump has said is not just useless; it is downright injurious.

That pretty much sums it up.

The man or deep state has been after Trump for almost six years. Haven’t got him yet and they threw the full weight of the judicial and intelligence systems against him.

No, the economy isn't doing "great". If it was "great" it wouldn't need an "emergency" rate cut from the Fed to attempt to prop up the falling DJIA. If it was "great" it wouldn't need to have ideas like suspending payroll taxes suggested to try to keep it afloat.

It's not bad, unemployment and LFPR are pretty good (the aging Boomer demo is helping that by default), but it's nowhere near as robust as the cheerleaders would have you and I believe.

As I've said in other threads - sub-3% 30 year mortgages are NOT and indicator of a great economy. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Primary credit and secondary credit rates are both a full point below where they were last summer.

This is not the mark of a "great" economy:

I've said this over and over again... from an objective point of view and being a Trump voter, the only thing that would get Trump out of the office is an economic crash... so if the DOW continues to spiral to the mid teens, then its possible (not guaranteed but possible). I am still not sure what sort of response people expected from Trump in this scenario.

So while the facts in the article is probably right, the conclusion (Trump’s Presidency is over) is far from certain.

This.

I agree 100%, I am a Trump supporter and the current economic scenario is bizarre... extremely low interest rates that will soon lean lower, emergency pumping of funds from the central market, oil slowly tanking and all combined with a the worry of a global pandemic... not to mention corporate debt to levels not seen since 2008. Once that cash flow stops, the real decline will start... I expect this to happen very very soon.

I would like the author of that op-ed to make this statement about JB or make a case illustrating how he does not fit into the same categories:

"What I explained then, and what I have said many times since, is that Trump is fundamentally unfit—intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologically—for office."

Many people are saying DT is awful and that may be so but they're not giving us an option that isn't just as bad. They're giving us the same crap with different marketing. Coke Vs. Pepsi.

Look up the phrase "the buck stops here". The exact opposite of Trump. No accountability. He plays the victim, yet is never a victim.

Now, back to the rum......
Yep.

For example, can anyone fathom Obama winning a second term if the 2010 BP oil spill occurred off the coast of California?

Acting sooner. Everybody criticizes China and Iran for hiding their numbers but our admin tried to do the same.

Though none of that matters now. I do not see how people will see how this has been handled thus far and start supporting him over it.

The deluded are calling this a Bernie Sanders test run. Well Bernie is not (and hopefully never will be) the president.

This guy points the finger at Obama and rants about H1N1 and then says this is not his fault in the next labored breath. I am so comforted.

along with not testing in an attempt to skew the numbers or make it seem less relevant in the US. hypothetically speaking of the corona crisis ends quickly with little fatalities and the markets rebound... what then? over the last few years this guy has proven to be the teflon don. nothing sticks to him.

People are, by and large, dumb.

The President is the equivalent of the quarterback. They get too much praise when things go well and too much criticism when they don't. It's been that way as long as I can remember and it applies to everything from the NYSE to gas prices and all points in-between.

To quote the Men In Black meme I've seen floating around:

Agent Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it...
