So you want a new Porsche GT3 RS

Lottery winner, well off but have never owned more than one or two Porsches, then you're probably out of luck as you can't have one.

You can have one, you're just going to have to pay a six figure ADM for it.

I watched his video, and the follow up, and I can tell you that it's not always that way. My old boss just bought one for a bit over MSRP and he's only had 1 911 turbo ever.

Seems unlikely as most dealers are either MSRP only and will only sell to local/VIP clients or will charge whatever ADM they can get and a little over MSRP would be leaving at least $100k on the table given recent auction prices. But if he did get gifted $100k by the dealer, good for him. He should sell it and take the cash, then go buy a 991.2 GT3RS for half the price and use his free money to pay for half the car. Easy game.

As unlikely as it seems, it's a fact. I'll be shooting the car soon and will post pix here. It's white with red.

So what is "a little over MSRP" and why did the dealer sell it to him for a $100k+ discount with no purchase history? Something doesn't add up.

Every time I see someone paying these giant ADM fees, over MSRP for used cars, etc there's only one thing that comes to my mind...

"What a dumbass".

Seriously, no car is so good that you should do dumb crap like pay some huge ADM for it.

I had the opportunity to buy one at sticker and passed.

Why do I want a 911 with a body kit again? Ultimate poseur car. If you want a "track car" you get the cup car.

Oh look and they cost less;

He's shameless, I'll ask him when I do the shoot and he'll tell me exactly what he paid.

And I was a bit incorrect, I forgot that he had the turbo, then a GT3, then he also bought a Cayenne for his mom.

I don't understand why they don't just raise the MSRP.
Doug from Vinwiki used to buy allocations all over, then list the allocation in California for thousands more and operated like this for years. Finally, Porsche caught on and cut him off, and his response was, it's not my fault that you don't properly price your cars in the correct markets...
I see both sides of this argument, but I find myself completely repulsed by these stealerships marking cars up excessively. Noooo thanks.
Then again, I'm a habitual used-car buyer, so none of this really matters. I'm not their target market.

Porsche has raised their MSRP quite a bit in recent years. The base price of a 992 GT3RS is like $70k more than a 991

I think a GT3 P-car dealer boss can simply pick and choose a price, if he has a long time friend who he plays golf with then he can arrange a 'bargain' price with his own terms but still well over msrp for his profit margin.

who cares this fake flex hype over Porsches is the only thing worse than the fake flex hype over Rolex.

I remember going to a Porsche dealer in 2017-2018 and everything was available easily and with discounts.

That time is coming again soon…Rolex demand crashed now and so will this.

Yup, it just makes the huge ADM seem like it's a smaller portion of the price. It so.ehow hurts less spending $100k ADM on a 300k car than a 200k one.

"fake flex hype"???
Why don't you go over to your or next town Porsche and flex your cash and tell them you want to buy one now, cash?
Let us know if it is a fake hype or they laughed at you.

I've actually got no issue with ADM. I wouldn't pay one myself but it's just a supply and demand issue so you raise the asking price.

What I despise is the long term plays to keep soaking you by demanding you buy other cars and demanding you sell back to them i really despise that stuff. If the car is $450K with ADM and I show up with $450K..... we should be good to go.

Agreed. Theres two more follow up videos that I watched that show it's not always about soaking you to keep you buying cars from them, but it's also how they move the models that people don't want or that they know are going to tank. "We can't sell them, so let's make them someone elses problem."

It's shady business practice at best. But then again, I've never met a car salesman/dealership that I felt wasn't shady in some way.

Which dealer was selling GT3RS easily available with huge discounts? A Panamera is not a GT3RS

“Fake flex hype” lol what. Maybe some people just like driving the car. Market is what it is.
