On the highway the STi falls flat on its face with the stock Evo IX doing only a bit better (I've owned both).

In 5th gear I will get walked by all sorts of cars that would be left in the dust if we went from a stop.

It's part of the reason I'm looking forward to my 335.

Above 100 mph the 6-cylinder turbo should pull harder than the 4-cylinder turbo.

A stock EVO does anywhere from 13.1-13.7 @ 99-103, which is basically on par with the 335i. So its really just a drivers race....congrats, you pushed the gas pedal first.

I used to own a Evo IX and today i gave one of my friends who has a Black Evo IX a test drive in my car (stock) and he thought i would take him. So i believe its possible to pull on one on the highway, even tho with my Evo i pulled on my friends 06 350z up to 140mph, the Z dont compare to the 335i.

yea a stock Evo IX needs cams to pull hard in 5th.
