I live in S. FL now. Not a single truck or lifted jeep down here has seen a field or real trail to get used properly. Irks me to no end. Especially the ones with a lift kit and large wheels on skinny tires.

The other fad that bugs me now are the dually trucks w/the 18-wheeler wheels. Looks ridiculous, and serves no purpose.
Trucks have become a luxury car now. Its so weird, a decade or two ago, I only saw pick up trucks as work vehicles, now you can get a Ram 1500 that feels like the S-Class of trucks. If anything the only things most people haul in their trucks now are groceries and air
Totally agree! The other thing I have started to notice is the squatting of trucks and SUVs. : I guess we can call that a FAD as well! Annoying!

Even now though you can get Air Suspension on a Ram 1500 and it's surprisingly very comfy.

Strange times we live in.

My feeling is most dually actually get used to tow stuff because I can't say I have seen a single pimped out dually.
I'm talking about the fad of putting 18-wheeler wheels/tires on a dually truck like below. Not an actual dually, which do serve a purpose:

Used 335i tuned with max burbles.

Has to be the car with the largest discrepancy in what the drivers think they look like vs what the public thinks they look like.

I loved my STi dearly, second only to the M2 if I'm honest.

I drove a few of the MK4 Supra's, they were so smooth, but beyond that I would have chosen an FD 100 times out of 100 (but they're junk, so I chose an S2000).

Hmmm, beloved cars that do nothing for me. I'll have to think about that.

MK4 Supra easily. I remember a local dealership having one collect dust forever as nobody cared about those cars until the first F&F movie. Yes the engine can handle a lot of power but the rest of the car is so meh.

There's no vehicle that "bothers" me per se. I dislike trucks and SUV's solely because they obscure road visibility for drivers behind them, but I don't resent the drivers for owning them.

I suppose in the spirit of the exercise I'd probably name the Mazda Miata/MX5. Me and a buddy did partner in one back in the early 2000s which only enhanced my distaste for it. However it was the only affordable track day car we could get our hands on at the time.

What do you mean by an "actual dually"? The second pic you posted has a truck with a long gooseneck trailer, presumable used to carry large/heavy loads. Which serves a purpose, like a semi. I can totally understand why someone who drives a F350 on long journeys for work would want semi-style tires that last far longer than the factory ones.

And for me--Corvettes. Never liked em. Thought the C8 had some promise til I saw it in person and saw that they missed the mark just like every gen that came before.

Aside from the new Vette, I hate Teslas with a passion, ugly, and unfun

Agree with the STI’s, always have preferred the Evo 9 and earlier. I’ve driven each gen from the mid 2000s to the latest one being 2017. They’ve all had unacceptable rides and felt much bigger than the Evo’s. I’ve seen several people here going to STI’s only to come back to Bimmers shortly after and I think a lot of it has to do with the ride.

Unpopular but Koenigsegg does nothing for me. I’ve seen the Agera R and the Jesko when they where touring it around the states for photo ops and standing next to it I was “meh”.

I was friends with a guy who was a Supra nut and while I appreciated the gobs of power that thing makes(his was around 700whp) the only thing I liked about it was the looks cuz the awful ride/handling killed it for me as I was never a straight line speed kind of a car guy. The new one is straight up hideous.

Mercedes G Wagon, looks like the shipping box your washing machine came in on wheels.

'55 Corvette

I've had an '03 WRX and an '05 STI for fifteen years and love it still. To date on the STI the only unexpected thing that broke was replacing the radiator.

I think those are factory wheels at least on the newer Ford dually. Dunno. I'm not a truck guy, only own one because I can't haul my RV with a Z4M.

That being said I was a big anti truck guy. Then I bought an RV and was forced to get an F150. It was a loaded platinum with the V8 and all the gadgets.... honestly.... I liked it a lot. I think I would pick it over a regular SUV. Super comfortable, tons of space in front and the rear, all the tech and comfort features you get in a luxury sedan PLUS you get the utility of a truck when you need it.

I would definitely NOT get an F350 which is what I have now. Horrible ride, fucking ginormous especially mine with the long bed, but unfortunately the F150 just couldn't handle our bigger RV as well as I would of liked.
