Possibly, not sure we will ever be able to tell for sure just because of the reporting inconsistencies... hell the best the CDC comes up with is ~20k-60k a year from the flu. That is a very low confidence

I still think we have been reporting more deaths as COVID deaths than actually should be attributed to it. I feel like NY thinks the more deaths they have from it the more help or funding they can get, which likely isn't far from the truth.
