Burning Clutch Smell??

Hi guys, I have a 2019 Roadster and yesterday I was visiting a drive tru McDonald's
with long wait times and the car was in a mix of Park mode and D. Then there seemed to be a strong smell of a burning clutch! Seems crazy I know as initially I thought it was from the car in front and there was no smoke, just a heavy smell of clutch or really hot brakes. when I got home there was still a reminding smell. Any ideas what this might be? No faults showing either. Thanks.

Did you check the brake discs? One may be hotter than the rest.

That clutch smell is the same you get from a stuck calliper I know as I had one seize up on a E92 before.

Thought the same my clutch is gone.

Easy replacement.

The i8 has an automatic transmission so there is no clutch.

Definitely smelling the brakes or someone else in the drive thru lines burning clutch.
