Orlando dropped the ball with Barnes. How much money did the Lakers spent this year to pick up the two mentioned and Blake?

I think Barnes will be a critical player to come in for Kobe for when he's tired.

Barnes could have went to the Cavs for 7m/2yr. He chose the Lakers for a 3.6m/2yr deal. Got Theo for 1.35m/1yr and Blake for 16m/4yr.

Think Barnes will be backing up Kobe and Artest. I'm feeling good about this year.

Even when he sucks, I still like Sasha for some reason. He reminds me of a young Peja, haha.

I read this morning in the L.A. Times that Lakeshow, as of now, have 11 signed players. They still need 2 more to meet the minimum of 13. (They have the 2nd round rookies so I'm sure they will sign them).

Edit: I read that Barnes is 30 yrs old! The guy looks like he's in his early 20s. I also wouldn't be surprised if he will play in Zoom Kobe shoes.

Sasha is overpaid. He works hard but doesn't hit enough shots for a "shooter."

Umm yeah but that leaves Shannon Brown the odd man out. Trade Sasha for future round draft picks and resign Shannon Brown.

Yeah, I saw pictures of Sasha's cars and house a couple of years ago. A nice house in Malibu Beach and had several nice cars too. And he made 0 point in the run against Orlando 2 yrs ago.

I'm sure there will be teams who want him though. Hopefully he can be more fundamentally sound and be somewhat versatile like Riddick. (SP?)

Yea I liked JJ Riddick a lot too. I doubt there will be many takers for Sasha TBH. If there were, we would've traded him already.

Lakers would be better off trading Sasha for a 2nd round draft pick and resigning Shannon Brown instead.

I used to do that a lot during my high school years. I would dribble and cross over invisible defenders and pretend to shoot a fade-a-way jump shot...albeit I graduated HS at the age of 17 so LeBron is just a tad bit older, lol.
