Future potential
About 2 years ago I purchased an i8 protonic red edition that had been in the showroom for 24 months. The car had covered 50 miles at collection and has roughly 800 miles on it now.
I've just purchased a 2nd i8, being a 2018 roadster in donington grey, that has done roughly 4000 miles. Interior has been partially modified to alcantara (by a high end, renowned company). Which of these cars has best future value potential ??? I do realize that best potential could mean still losing money ;-) Have to decide which car to use as a DD. European cars, roughly 10K miles/16K kilometers per year. |

simple: which of these two was produced in the least numbers? The newer (roofless) car. By quite a margin. 3,800 vs 18,000 or so. Protonic is just another red painted coupe.

Sunny day? take the roadster.
Cloudy? take the coupe.
