Coronavirus impact on build quality in Germany?

Do you think the coronavirus will have an impact on the build quality of the cars being manufactured in germany?

Maybe the factory workers are paranoid of contracting the disease so they're not as detailed or committed to putting the cars together?

Or

The workers in general are psychologically depleted from this economic downturn and seeing their money turn into smoke so they're less inclined to do a good job...

Or

Am I straight out of my mind for these thoughts?

If this thing gets really out of hand in Germany like it has In Italy, they may not be making any cars at all in a month or two.

Won’t stop well without brakes.

https://europe.autonews.com/supplier...-auto-industry

Supply chain impact is probably a bigger concern than build quality. China is also slow to ramp back up from the Lunar New Year holiday due to coronavirus impact, and I’d imagine a lot of the electronics are either manufactured in China, or at least utilize components/sub-assemblies that are.

I suppose build quality could be impacted if they have to switch suppliers.

In a month or two it'll be mid spring and the epidemic will probably have gone for the most part. (I hope)
As temperatures rise and humidity loweres it becomes more difficult for the virus to spread I think.

But parts availability might take longer to solve maybe

Getting ready to order a 5, but it could be a long delay with this virus stuff. My lease is up in early June, so need to order soon. Guessing BMW will extend leases if needed, but could be a long time if the close plant and there are backorders on parts...

At this point I think any assumptions about the course of this epidemic is just guessing. It's bad, it'll get worse. It isn't likely to go away unless there's a vaccine which means it's probably with us for awhile.
