Bmw I3 adaptive led headlight retrofit.

So far if your car is a 2018 or newer these seem to be plug and play with just some coding. In fact they work and turn off and on with no codes after plugging in and no coding.

So far so good!

What if the car is from 2014?

On 2014 to 2017 You have to change the whole wire harness up to the firewall and the footwell module. Massive job.

The refresh 2018 and newer just require coding, the headlight module are all the same part number. So a quick relatively cheap upgrade.

dont these need a car with front camera on the windscreen? or how else would they know about oncoming/position of traffic etc?
