Nice mine will be here next week. Interesting to see they all arrive around the same time.

The usual reference is the open footwell between the seats, which to me doesn't make sense because that isn't unique to minivans, and most current minivans don't even have that.
Personally I think it's more about the low cupholders and that bottom tier of the center console, which is reminiscent of the seat level center consoles many minivans have sitting between front captains chairs. I can see the resemblance, but I wouldn't say it is strong. All cars are going to have some common design features if you look for them. Here are some 2022 minivans. The Honda is probably the closest to the open footwell with seat height console look. |

Which mirrors just about every other EV that isn't a minivan as well, so I guess the comparison is lost on me too....

I have it. Damn it is fast and the color in person is stunning.
It was an incredible dealership experience as well (though my dealer is why I have driven nothing but BMWs for 16 years). They have not had a chance to deliver a lot of electric cars and everyone there was part of the process in a way that just made it exciting. More pics and a detailed review soon. |

But I stayed in contact with daylaborer and he connected me with an ix60 which I should pick up next week. My original 2022 unit is still in Germany at the factory lol. So, if the iX is what you want there are other options. |

I'm not really a SUV guy and prefer small cars and manual transmissions but I know electric is the future.
I've driven the iX several times and given my above preferences I am having a hard time understanding why I want an iX so badly Congrats OP, I look forward to hearing your impressions!

Wow...that color is fantastic....you killed it with that selection. I know the feeling of buying a color sight unseen as I did that with my first car years ago. You end up liking it even more.
Although, I'm still very disappointed in these interiors....or the lack thereof. They are so stark and vanilla looking and seem to sterilize the driving experience. Just my opinion though....all that matters is that you love it! Enjoy! |
