Well i like both. But, if i were to choose nice cars or fine watches, I would go for car first.

I owned 2 panerai, 1 debethune, 1 breitling skyracer and rolex datejust II

Absolutely! Though I may fly against the grain as I am a Seiko collector (own a Grand Seiko and some rare vintage Japanese Domestic models). I did own a Rolex Seadweller and 2 Subs at different times- great watches but I've gone strictly Seiko for the time being.

It's an expensive hobby for sure. I have a Hamilton X-Wind (rose gold, cf face, cf design leather) and would like a Tag Heuer Carrera calibre 16 day date next.

Want To Buy Or Sell A Watch???? No Need To Look Anywhere Else!!!

I love this thread. Very cool to see BMW owners sharing their passion for watches. I am still saving up for my first Daytona but one of my best friends is a very respected and well established watch and fine jewelry dealer. He works for Matthew Green Jewelers in the Jeweler's Exchange in Boca Raton, FL. I have not asked for his permission to post this so anyone that is interested in the best deals around on buying or selling luxury watched and jewelry, please PM me and I will put you in touch with my friend. I don't want to put his personal info on the forum just yet. He can help you choose the perfect piece for any budget and his knowledge and professionalism will certainly impress you. Please send me a PM is you are interested in getting a quote on buying or selling. I guarantee you will not be wasting your time!

Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unitime currently but I also have a large collection of Invicta watches for daily wear since I beat them up.

An oldie but a goodie

Rolex GMT for graduation present in 1969 (they ran about $350 at the time). Stolen in 1983. Replaced in 1985 with a two-tone GMT with rootbeer bezel and dial. I wear it every day, hack it about once every couple months, and for off and on DST. It's currently within a second of these folks time:
http://www.time.gov

Every now and then I look at a Breitling ... but why?
