i4 M Performance Parts shown.
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com For those of us who ordered the i4 i thought i should just post about the M-Performance parts are available for the i4. Link: https://www.bmw.se/sv/alla-modeller/...-oversikt.html If you scroll down on the page you can see the M-Performance parts available for the car. I do not know what the difference between the Carbon fibre package you can choose as standard on the car but i guess there is some small differences. What i do wonder is if the M-Performance Alloys will be light weight this might be the one thing to consider in case of weight reduction is to change those out to gain some range on the M50 model version. But you will probably be able to mix and match with some of the regular M-Performance parts for the standard 4 series. In short: M-Performance part Grill Carbon fibre look M-Performance part Spoiler Carbon fibre M-Performance part Diffuser Carbon fibre M-Performance part 20" "Gold" plated wheels looking better the standard. M-Performance part steering wheel. M-Performance part gear selector

The rear diffuser looks like they had a tight budget and just filled in the gaps where a quad exhaust is supposed to go

Even taking out my bias, those model 3 tesla are not attractive looking at all for me personally. But they are super popular, to each their own right

i4 deserves to be double the price of Model 3. But it's only $10K more expensive. It's a bargain. Heck, I wouldn't buy Model 3 even if it was 20K.

Other than the side trim on the doors with that terrible "M PERFORMANCE" branding I dig it. I'd still want an i4 in black just to tone down the front, but this car looks a million times better than the ICE 4er. It needs a suspension too.

The front end in person looks amazing to me especially in motion. I see everyone breaking their necks look at all the m440i in flushing queens lol. To each their own tho, but I think the new front end looks great in person.

LOL "performance" aero parts on an electric car...
They should market is as; "Increase your drag, to help your battery deplete faster!" or "go recharge faster and sooner than everyone else!" 😂 |

What are you supposed to do with an "M performance gear selector" if there are no gears to shift? You'll literally touch it twice the entire drive, once at the beginning then once at the end.
Some fake exhaust pipes with synthesized sounds could be a good way to convince ICE guys to get into an i4.

Plus, everybody and their mother drives a Model 3, and it's never the enthusiast-type.

Guys, dont feed the Tesla trolls. They hijack every thread and try to spread the cult.
Those whose legit argue for Teslas either dont understand about cars and are tech people or dont care about driving dynamics. |

You mean less tech. Model 3 Performance does not have ventilated seats, HUD, Instrument cluster, gesture control, infrared eye tracker, electronic front suspension and air suspension on rear axle, radar etc...

On the topic of 'gesture control'. In one of the BMWBlog videos of iDrive 8 the BMW guy mentions gesture control as being available on iDrive 8 but I don't see it in the configurator for the i4, only on the iX?

Huh that's interesting, can't find it for the i4 on the Norwegian configurator either, for the iX I can find but it seems to have been renamed to "Natural Interaction". There is a bmwblog video of a prototype i4 where the BMW software engineer says that it has gesture control. Maybe it's limited to the iX as of now because of the chip shortage? Who knows.
