Rear view mirror

I saw a 440 on the road and the rear window looks quite small and further seems taken up by the rear headrests. Can anyone chime in on how good or bad the rear view mirror field is?

I sat in the Pre-production i4, it's not bad actually. However, I will most likely remove the middle headrest, as I rarely have anyone sit in the back seats.

It would be nice if BMW did what Chevy did with the Bolt and other cars.

The rear backup camera is the rearview mirror

Was thinking the same it’s most needed feature in these cars with small back windows.

I sat in one yesterday, and the car went from the top of my list straight to the bottom in no small part because of the rear view being abysmal.

Where did you get to sit in one in the U.S.? I sat in the 4 series GC and thought it was very nice.

I also sat in a 4 GC with all head rests on, the middle was folded though. The sales person made it a point to fold the head rests for visibility purposes. She must've heard the lack of visibility comment before. Regardless , since I currently drive an X6, there's no way to go but up on rear visibility.
