Tyre change

Anybody in the northwest Uk changed tyres from standard 245/215 20 inch to 275/245 ? Every tyre fitter I go to says it can’t be done on the stock 20 alloys but obviously has been done many times on here.
Would like to go to a tyre fitter who has done this.
