Corrosion
Just cleaned the car and noticed that at the rear of the car, under the rear bumper there is some paint that has come off. Looks like a panel that has oxidised and the surface paint is just flaking off. Is this normal? Do I have a claim under body corrosion?
It is visible at the rear of the car so I need to do something with it... Trying to add a photo! |

Should be easy for BMW to just replace the snall panel by the look of it.
I guess show them it and see if covered. As you say, maybe under the corrosion warranty. Cant say mine is like that but will look. |

For US Warranty purposes, corrosion is only covered if there is perforation. Surface oxidation is not covered. since it does not perforate the metal.
