I can eat pizza and drink beer and still lose a bit, you can bulk on KK

Weird/interesting event last night. My son bought us tickets for Avengers at 8:30. I was dead tired going in, just not sleeping well. Blood sugars have been pretty high all week (225+ average before meals). Watch the movie and then the wife follows all the lemmings out the side door on the wrong side of the theatre from where the car is parked. We get outside and she starts to complain a bit about how far she has to walk, aka my queue to go get the car.

I take off in a sprint and go into this tunnel-vision feeling like I am the Hulk, and suddenly I'm at the car. Must have got there pretty fast because I'm back and have the wife loaded in the car before my son even gets to his, and he was parked by the exit we took.

I KNOW my blood sugar is low, but I'm feeling so hyper-vigilant I get us home without hitting any cats, and see the guys pulling out of driveways 5-6 houses before I pass.

When we get home, I'm at 48. . .

Classic dry humor. I'm not much of a comic guy, so I don't understand a lot of the back stories.

I think I could console poor Scarlett, just hold her in my arms and stroke her . . . I need to go to the bathroom, BRB.

I wouldn't mind, but there are certain globules of fat that I intend to stroke on her.

I personally FEEL stronger in general. I'm starting to see some definition above my knees, and this strange V from ribs to navel.

Doing my best to mix up the exercises when I work a particular group, both in the actual exercise as well as the grip I use.

Weight is holding pretty steady around 191-2.

Soccer tonight!

I spent the first 45 Friday as keeper, so I put that time to good use stretching. LEt 2 goals in. Second half I was wide fullback, so was running 40-60yd sprints most of that time. Right to the edge of hamstring cramps. Lots of fluids and a good dose of BCAA and potassium before the game kept the cramps away overnight. Dogs were TIRED on Saturday, but I was working my glutes watch my son play a double-header in the sun, so it worked out OK.

The gym work kept me able to do the trenching for electricity, and the hammering of u-holds for the cabling yesterday. We are wiring up the carport and shed for lights and electricity.
Trenching we initially let my son and his cousin take on that chore. About the time they hit what looks like an abandoned septic line (since nothing came out after the initial squirt) I took over and finished it off. I reminded them several times during trenching "Stay in school, or do this all day every day"

I don't know about progress but I'm still hitting the gym. I'll step on the scale here and there just out of curiosity and Sunday morning I was 152#s and BF was 22%. The previous scale was Effed up that's why it was reading my Bf at above 35%.. Lolz

http://www.amazon.com/Calorie-Free-P...0778935&sr=1-5

give that a try if you eat pancake or waffles a lot, the regular syrup is full of sugar/carbs.

it's a lil expensive but i think it's worth it.

thanks for the tip but I'm not a big breakfast eater. Shoot I hardly even eat . I average about 2000 cals/day lunch and dinner but probably not the cleanest calories that consists of 1-2 cans of Mt dew.

Keep at it fellas. I finally finished the SMOLOV squat program Sunday. I can't believe I made it through 13 weeks of squat hell. Mental fortitude is/was a must!!! I'm going for a 450 lb. one rep squat Thursday. I'm amped!

I guess you are telling Squishy you will be using his curl rack on Thursday, huh?

I'm impressed with that amount of weight. And IIRC, you are doing this with just your knees, no wraps or anything?

Lol! I'm snatching the rack. Yeah, I don't use any wraps or anything at this time.

A bit of wisdom I heard the other day from a guy I know who does ultra-marathons, and now wears his 24-hour belt almost every day: "You burn fat in the candle of carbs"

I can't think of anything ENJOYABLE that I would want to do for 24 hours straight. Running that long just seems inhumane

I'm gonna try that Smolov program, but on a much smaller scale.

Try SMOLOV Jr. or just do the Base & Intro Mesocycles.

So before this 13 weeks of hell, what would 1 squat weigh?

You'd need to test yourself to see what your 1RM is prior to beginning the program. The program is based entirely on your beginning 1RM and your 1RM following the Base and Intro cycles.

Misunderstood my question. SC, where were you 13 weeks ago? (to gauge how effective it was in your case)
