2015 i8 radio not working

I have a 2015 BMW i8 and everything in the i drive works fine. only thing that isn't working is the sound. I talked to BMW and they suggested to hold the volume button and the 8 button until it does a reset and it never did. Has anyone else ever had this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks! Any suggestions appreciated

So it's not just muted, right? BC this happened to me once. Had to push once on the round volume button.
